Whether you're just starting the college journey or mapping out final choices, our admissions plans guide your student with purpose, clarity, and expert strategy—so they can thrive, not just apply.
Our Framework and Master Builder Plans are perfect for students who begin planning and working on their college journey during the high school junior year.
Because every student is unique—and so is every path to college—Admissions Architect offers three distinct plans, tailored to different goals, timelines, and levels of support.

Families who's teen will apply to 4-5 moderately competitive, state or private, universities or liberal arts colleges. They are focused more on schools that are a "right-fit" so that their teen's academic interest will grow rather than colleges that are fiercely competitive to get into. They are seeking a guided, thoughtful approach from our professionals to help their teen gain a solid understanding of their intended career/college major path and advice on how to align their high school courses and activities/experiences to complete strong applications that will improve their number of acceptances and/or maximize the funding the student receives from each college to make attendance more affordable.
Your student will:
Build a meaningful, well-balanced college list
Create a standout personal statement and a limited amount of supplemental essays that reflects their voice and tells their most important story
Stay organized and focused without being overwhelmed
Learn how to enhance and present their activities with impact and clarity respectively
Align coursework with career and college major.

What Other Families Ask
School counselors play an important role, but they often have large caseloads and limited time for individualized strategy. Our plans offer personalized, one-on-one guidance focused entirely on your student’s goals, strengths, and college list. We dive deep into essays, timelines, positioning, and scholarship strategy—things most school counselors simply don’t have the time or resources to do thoroughly.
If your student is applying to a small number of schools with straightforward applications, the Framework Plan is often a great fit. For students aiming for selective colleges, scholarships, or honors programs, our Master Builder Plans offer deeper support across essays, positioning, and strategy. We’re happy to talk it through with you. You don’t have to figure it out alone. In our free consultation, we’ll talk through your student’s timeline, goals, and school list to recommend the best fit. Book a free consultation zoom meeting here.
Not at all! We offer special packages just for seniors—including our Blueprint Packages—that provide focused support on essays and applications even in the later stages. The sooner we connect, the more we can help streamline the process and reduce stress.
Yes! Essay planning, revision, and strategy are included in all plans. Our Master Builder Plans we also support interviews, honors programs, and scholarship applications—making sure your student puts their best foot forward in every part of the process. With the plus plan, this is unlimited. With the Master Builder Plan we support 1-2 Ivy/Ivy+ or honors college selections.
Ideally, we start working with students in 8th grade as they transition to high school. This helps us to plan with the student each year that is represented on their admissions application. But, the second most often starting point is the end of 10th, beginning of 11th grade, when there’s still time to shape academic choices, activities, and goals. But no matter when you start, we’ll meet your teen where they are and guide them forward with a clear plan and expert perspective.
Absolutely. Some families start with the Framework Plan and move into Master Builder or Plus as their needs expand.
Definitely. Our essay coaching is built to support students of all writing levels. We help them find their voice—and write with clarity and heart.
You’ll always be in the loop, but we take the lead so you don’t have to drive the process. Most parents tell us they feel relieved and reassured once we’re on board. You’ll receive regular updates, and we’ll let you know when decisions or feedback are needed—but your student does the heavy lifting with our expert support. And, you can always book a Parent Catch-Up meeting whenever you like.
Absolutely. We understand that financial fit matters just as much as academic and social fit. We’ll help you explore colleges that align with your family’s priorities, including those known for generous merit aid or strong need-based support, and guide you in identifying scholarships worth pursuing.
Our plans are designed to meet most families where they are, but we know every situation is unique. If your needs shift mid-process, we’re flexible. You can always upgrade or adjust your plan based on how your student’s goals evolve—and we’ll help you make that call if the time comes.
Motivation is a wonderful starting point, and we love working with ambitious students! Even driven teens benefit from structure, expert guidance, and feedback. Our work allows them to channel their energy effectively—and saves families hours of second-guessing or stressing over the details.
Yes! We help families decide which colleges and application types make the most sense based on admissions strategy, deadlines, and financial aid considerations. We’ll map out what’s due when, and make sure everything is submitted confidently and on time—whether it’s EA, ED, or rolling admission.
That’s completely normal—many students are still exploring. We guide them through interest discovery, values-based list building, and help them articulate their story even if they’re undecided. In fact, some of our most powerful essays come from students who are still figuring it out.
With over 35 years of experience, we don’t just guide students—we empower them. We meet every family where they are, build a custom plan, and help them create meaningful applications that open real doors.
Whether you’re applying to two colleges or ten, we’ll make the process feel lighter, more joyful, and filled with purpose.
